Trouville, Normandy may 2009

Sometimes it is hard to be back and get our lifes started again. Especialy after our holidays in Normandy in may. We 've been there for 10 days, just visiting the beaches, the villages, the brocantes and the flea markets.....Finding a place for all the things we bought keeps the memories alive.....even the shells found their places on the fireplace and on the tables...

Het kan zijn dat ik af en toe een beetje dromerig overkom...dat klopt...ik ben nog in dromenland. De herinneringen aan de vakantie in Normandië in mei zijn nog zo vers en het dagelijkse leven weer oppakken is af en toe zo moeilijk dat ik vlucht in herinneringen.

I am still cherishing the happy memories of our vacation, we went to Normandy and visited Honfleur. It's painters, it's antique markets, it's harbour, it's romantic atmospere...it is a dream...
Ik ben nog even aan het nagenieten van de 10 dagen Normandië van alweer 3 weken geleden, Honfleur is een droom. Schilders, boten, de hoge huizen langs de kade en de antiekmarkt rond een eeuwenoude kerk.

Pink Saturday part 10: Brocante

All the things I found in Normandy have to find their own space in our home...it is not easy.... the souvenirs bring back so many memories that I do not want to let go....

Alle aankopen van de vakantie staan nog verspreid over het huis..het is niet zo veel maar ik wil het eigenlijk eerst op de foto zetten voor ik het een plaatsje geef in huis. De vakantieherinneringen aan 10 dagen Normandië worden weer opgehaald bij het zien van alle plaatjes, we zijn nog maar net terug maar het lijkt veel langer...
