My grandmother used to collect all kinds of things, she also collected postcards and after her death 15 years ago (she was 90 years old) I inherited the collection of old cards. She liked the same cards as I do so I am very happy with them. When I find one at a flea market...I can't help it...I have to buy that...
Mijn oma heeft in haar gehele leven dat 90 jaar duurde geloof ik niet één kaart weggegooid. Ze spaarde van alles en nog wat en de kaarten heb ik geerfd. De viooltjes kaarten zijn zo leuk...en als ik er zo af en toe eentje op een rommelmarkt tegenkom dan ga ik overstag...af en toe een serviesgoedje met viooltjes erbij en hup...weer een verzameling geboren....
On valentinescards there are often bunches of violets...I 'd rather get a small bouquet of violets than a big bouquet of red roses... ( I hope I am early enough with my wishes for tomorrow)
Op valentijnskaarten figureren viooltjes ook nogal eens....ik vind het ook romantischer om een klein bosje viooltjes te krijgen dan zo'n grote bos knalrode rozen eerlijk gezegd...
